BikeBook will help you keep track of maintenance on your many bicycles. To get started, create a document using File > New (or command-N
). Customize the document to match one of your bikes by adding, removing, or rearranging parts and subparts. You can use the toolbar, drag-and-drop, or the following menu items:

If you would like to use your customized bike as a template for future documents, use BikeBook > Preferences (command-comma
) and select the document from the pop-up menu in the Preferences window. Title the template anything you like, and check the box to make it your default template if you wish. The menu items, File > New Document and File > New Bike From, will reflect your change.
Prepare a document for each of your bikes, and add service entries using Edit > Add Entry to subpart (command-1
) or Edit > Add Entry to Bike (command-3
). Later, when you need to find a particular comment, the Edit > Find submenu and the search field in the toolbar will help you locate parts and service entries.
