Highlight

Log File Viewer Standard enables you to specify a set of highlighting rules. Any content which matches a given highlight rule will have a customized highlight-effect.

Show the highlight dialog in the following ways:

Click ‘Add’ to create a new highlighting rule. Each highlighting rule has a matching pattern, applied in a selected column or the whole loaded file.

There’re three kinds of matching patterns:

Check ‘Case sensitive’ if you only want to match content that has exactly the same case as your condition text.

Select an existing rule, click ‘Remove’ to delete it.

Select an existing rule, you can modify it in the edit-box directly.

Change the text/background color of a highlighting rule to give the content that matches this rule a special highlight-effect.

Click ‘Move up/Move down’ to change the rule precedence..

10 recently used highlighting rules will be stored in history records.

Frequently used highlighting rules can be saved as your favorites.

When highlighting rules have been applied, you can click / or press Shift + H to enable/disable them.

Tip: in auto-fresh mode, the enabled highlighting rules will be applied in the appended contents automatically.
