Eight Off is very much like Baker's Game except that only the Kings are allowed in empty tableau spaces and there are eight free cells instead of four. Card Layout: Four foundation piles are lined vertically along the right. There are eight free cells at the top of the tableau with eight tableau piles underneath. Six cards are dealt on each of the eight tableau piles totalling 48 cards, and four cards go to the free cells. (only one card per free cell) To Win the Game: All cards must be moved to the foundations from Ace to King and by suit. To Play the Game: You can play with any of the top tableau pile cards or free cells to build by suit in descending order on the tableau or in ascending order on the foundations (starting with aces). If there is an available empty pile, it may only be occupied by a king (and group of cards attached to the king if they are in order). If an Ace is available you may move them to the foundations at any time. |
