Adding a new file attachment

You can attach files to any product stored in LicenseKeeper in three ways. You can drag and drop a file on to a product's attachments list or you can attach a file using the Attach Document menu or the Attach Document toolbar button.

To attach a file using the toolbar button:

  1. Select the product to add the attachment to.
  2. Click the Attachments tab.
  3. Click the Attach Document toolbar button.
  4. Find the file you would like to attach, select it, and click Open.
  5. To view the contents of the file, double-click on the file in the attachments list.

To attach a file using the menu:

  1. Select the product to add the attachment to.
  2. Click the Attachments tab.
  3. Open the Attachments main menu and select Attach Document...
  4. Find the file you would like to attach, select it, and click Open.
  5. To view the contents of the file, double-click on the file in the attachments list.

To attach a file using drag and drop:

  1. Select the product to add the attachment to.
  2. Click the Attachments tab.
  3. Located the file to attach in the Finder.
  4. Drag the file and drop it on the attachments list in LicenseKeeer.
  5. To view the contents of the file, double-click on the file in the attachments list.
